DIRAK Middle East has been ably supporting customers in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries from Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

In order to better serve our customers, we now have a bigger office and warehouse facility in the Sharjah Airport Free Zone.

Dileep Kumar, DIRAK Middle East Director and Varghis Jacob, Senior Regional Manager recently inaugurated the new facility.

DIRAK Germany had started the Middle East operations in 2015 and the up-gradation of these facilities, after 7 years, is a significant indication of our long term commitment in the Middle East.

Speaking on the occasion, Dileep Kumar said that this facility will enable DIRAK to shorten the supply chain and improve the ability to serve the needs of the growing Infrastructure, HVAC and Data Centre markets in the Middle East.

For close to 3 decades DIRAK Founder, Dieter Ramsauer, led his team, as a passionate technopreneur and a wonderful leader.
 
He suddenly passed away in April 2021, but left behind a strong company focused on innovation, technology and human values.
 
At DIRAK India, we honoured his memory by contributing Rs 15 Lakhs towards the up-gradation of the Rotary Bangalore Vidyalaya, a school run by the Rotary Club of Bangalore, that tends to the needs of under-privileged children.
 
Education is provided to close to 525 children in English and Kannada medium, from LKG/UKG up to the 10th Standard. 
 
The School was shut during the Covid lockdown, and the funds were used to upgrade one of the old building blocks, by repairing the entire exterior and interior walls, building a new flooring, constructing new washrooms, a pantry room, safe drinking water facility and play area including equipment.
 
We thought it the most fitting dedication (and our humble contribution) to the memory of Mr. Dieter Ramsauer here in Bangalore.
 
Post-pandemic, the School has now reopened from June 2022 with the new facilities and we have received feedback that the children are extremely happy with these new facilities.
 
It has always been our endeavour to support the community we live in, and provide, as much as we can, to help those who are in need.

We were extremely happy and privileged to have, not one, but two of the leaders of DIRAK GmbH visit us recently. Karl-Heinz Overhamm, who, till very recently was the CEO, and Florian Birkenmayer, the present CEO.

It was Mr. Birkenmayer’s first visit to the India facility and he showed a keen interest in how we are addressing our domestic needs by delivering customised solutions.

He also shared his views as he interacted with the team and explained how the India team was a critical part of the DIRAK worldwide operations.

Established in 1991 by Mr.Dieter Ramsauer in Enneptal , North Rhine Westphalia, DIRAK’s Indian operation has completed 25 years in the field of innovative components for enclosure construction ,Pioneering lock, hinge and fastening technology. It was amazing to see all the operations ( from assembly line to Warehouse) under one roof, where DIRAK provides customised solutions for various Industry from Railway to Defence and many more sectors- with 4500 products developed with latest secure & Innovative technologies.
Looking forward to seeing many more innovative designs from DIRAK in Future as well .
